Sorrento Coast

The Fai, Italian Environmental Fund, will celebrate the tenth anniversary of the opening to the public of the Bay of Ieranto, with a flute, guitar and vocal concert on the 2nd June.
The day will start at 9:30am with a guided tour of the Bay. The members of Fai will lead visitors form the square in Nerano to the Bay, passing through a path from where beautiful views can be admired discovering this beautiful costal area. On arrival at the bay, participants will be able to take place under the olive trees from where they will enjoy the open air concert but still feel comfortable in the coolness of the shade provided by the trees. At lunchtime participants can feel free to have their own pic nic or buy a "maccaturo" basket, named after the tradition cloth used in rustic meals, in which there will be a slice of pizza made of pasta, a portion of cake, a fruit, water, wine and a typical tablecloth to lay on the grass. After lunch the guided tour will continue down to the quarry esplanade and then the sea.
