From the airport
From Naples Capodichino Airport you can reach Sorrento by sea, train or bus.
To go to the port Molo Beverello and embark to Sorrento, you can take a taxi for approximate cost of € 25,00 / 30,00 (distance airport / port about 7 km - 15 min.)
Capodichino Airport is connected to the port of Naples with a private bus line CLP, which has only two stops (Piazza Municipio and Beverello). This service departs about every 30 minutes and is available from 06.30 am till 23.30pm. The ticket costs about € 1.50.
For those who want to use the train instead, you can reach the station of the Circumvesuviana in Piazza Garibaldi by taxi, the cost is approximately € 25,00 / 30,00 (distance airport / Circumvesuviana about 10 km - 20 minutes).
The airport is connected to the local train station in Piazza Garibaldi also by a bus line ANM, with departures every 20/30 minutes. Ticket price € 1.00.

By hydrofoil or ferry
From The beverello Port in Naples, there are daily hydrofoils and ferries to Sorrento. The crossing takes about 30-40 minutes on average for the hydrofoils and about 1 ½ hours for the ferries which can also transport cars and motorcycles. The cost of the ticket, per person and per trip is approximately € 10.00:

By train
The train of the Circumvesuviana rail line connects Naples with Vico Equense, Meta, Piano di Sorrento, Sant ' Agnello and Sorrento. To reach Massa Lubrense it is instead necessary to take the bus service which departs from the Circumvesuviana station in Sorrento.
The journey from Naples Piazza Garibaldi train station to Sorrento takes about 60 minutes. Departures start at 05.09am and end at 22:39pm and run every 30/40 minutes. The ticket costs about € 5.50 per person.
By car
By car when coming from north Italy, follow the A1 motorway Milan - Naples, then take the A3 Naples - Salerno and exit at Castellammare di Staba. From here take State Road 145.
Sorrento to Naples by car is about 48 kilometers.
By car when coming from the South of Italy, take the A3 Reggio Calabria - Salerno, then exit at Castellammare di stabia and continue along the state road 145.
By taxi
The cost of a taxi from Naples to Sorrento is for approximately € 150,00 / 180,00.
