Last strip of the Sorrento coast, and also of Campania, with its Punta Campanella. Massa Lubrense is the greenest of the six municipalities on the coast, where the other historic garden, that of the Gesù, is located. In this very vast territory, formed by the aggregation of 18 villages, corresponding to the ancient hamlets, there are many panoramic points, from the one where you can observe the two gulfs, that of Salerno and that of Naples, to that of Punta Campanella which it juts out into the sea, almost touching Capri, of which it was once a part.
Agora of the village largo Vescovado, from whose terrace, overlooking the sea, you can admire the Gulf of Naples. On one side stands the 16th century church of Santa Maria delle Grazie and the 18th century Episcopal palace. Starting point of roads and streets that lead either to Marina di Lobra, or to other hamlets. If you want, you can take 13 pedestrian itineraries that wind through lemon groves, olive groves, chestnut and oak groves, to reach ancient farmhouses and places covered with dense Mediterranean scrub. In these paths you will encounter archaeological memories, Saracen towers, unrepeatable panoramas where the sea and the mountains of the Lattari Mountains are the background. This is where the Marine Park is located, a protected area of unique beauty to visit.
